and the cutoff is.....March 14th!!!!!

The CCAA finally sent out referrals after a bit of a standstill apparently caused by the Swine Flu. I am sooooooo glad to finally see referrals!!!! I am excited to finally be able to say,"We are next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" They have issued referrals to everyone who has a date through March 14. We are the 15th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The next set of referrals could be sent out at the beginning of June ( which would put everything back on the normal schedule for referrals), or 1 month from now (around June 20), or they may be sent more near the beginning of July. No one knows for sure when we will get our referral, but we can finally say, WE ARE NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to Disney (Again!!)

First, this post should be dated about May 14, 2009. I often scan Southwest Airlines for good deals, and wouldn't ya know it, I found one!!! The great rate just happened to be over Mother's Day weekend too. So, this was the fastest Disney vacation I have ever planned. Caroline and I flew out Saturday, May 9 to Orlando. We had a fantastic time just the two of us. We stayed in a one-bedroom house at Disney's Old Key West for 3 nights. We had a blast at Animal Kingdom and MGM on Sunday. We loved Typhoon Lagoon on Monday especially because there were no lines. Of course, the Magic Kingdom was magical!!! What I learned is that I should have made the trip longer because there was absolutely no reason for us to come back home. No work and no school. We are basically done with school for this year. Yeah!!! I'll keep that in mind the next time I find a good rate!!
It was a nice trip and a nice diversion from all the talk about the swine flu. It seems the swine flu has delayed referrals from being issued at the beginning of this month (May 2009). Who knows how long this standstill will be.
Go away Swine Flu!!!!!!!
