Not Hairbows, But Headbands

Remember how I said Julianna would not keep hairbows in her hair?? Well, about 3 weeks ago, I successfully put two ponytails in her hair!!! The ponytails remained in place for the ENTIRE afternoon!! I literally thought I had another Chinese baby because she looked soooo different!! She was so super cute, and she looked much older too. (don't want to rush that, though.)

Well, that concept did not last more than 2 days. Yep, she takes them out. About 10 days ago, I had her hair cut. It was much needed, and looks so good. So, pigtails will have to wait again.

Julianna may not like hairbows, but she LOVES headbands!!! Yes, she goes around the house wearing Caroline's headbands. She finds them and puts them in her self. Check out the pics to see.

One Year Ago...

It was one year ago (actually tomorrow is the exact date, but I think of the day as being on a Monday) we received our first picture of Julianna. It was such an exciting time. Caroline and I had quickly gone to get some baby girl balloons to have for our mailbox, Gary had just made it home in time for the phone to ring. Oh, and I can't forget Georgette calling me during "our call". I remember saying to Beth from CCAI, "Oh my gosh, it's Georgette. I can't believe she is calling during "my call". LOL
